Everyone loves the ever so whimsical Betsey Johnson with her eccentric and fashion forward clothing. Sad to say she has run into a bind and had to file for bankruptcy to pay back the 4.1 million owed to manufacturers and vendors. Steve Madden (owner of Betsey Johnson since 2010) believes this will not be a crippling affect for the brand and it will still stand strong. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that Ms. Johnson will bounce back fast enough to have her summer/spring line out 2013.

This ultra-powerful book has transformed the food we eat at places like Burger King and McDonalds. We no longer find just a burger, fries and a soda in a happy meal but there is now milk and apple slices. The food hasn’t 100% changed but it is evident that they are trying and this is a pretty good start.
